“Interaction Frontiers is a free seminar that first took place in Milan, Italy, in the summer of 2005. Conceived by event organizers Matteo Penzo and Leandro Agrò, the seminar was sponsored by UXnet, Idearium, and Università Milano Bicocca.
Interaction Frontiers 2006 will take place at Università Milano Bicocca on June 16th and will focus on the following themes: multimodality, emotivity, and intelligent interfaces.
The adventure of Interaction Frontiers started by raising issues about user experience. This year it will take a step into the future of user experience, with presentations on avatars that enrich the windows of traditional GUIs, digital products with input devices and sensors that can collect information about users’ emotions, and user experiences that leave the screen and move around on wheels and robot legs.”
“Le Frontiere dell’Interazione e’ un seminario (completamente gratuito) nato nell’estate 2005 da un’idea di Matteo Penzo e Leandro Agrò (che tuttora rivestono il ruolo di producers della giornata) e organizzato da UXnet, Idearium e Università Milano-Bicocca.

L’avventura delle Frontiere dell’Interazione è cominciata con l’interrogarsi sulla User Experience, e quest’anno prova a fare un passo ulteriore. Le finestre delle GUI tradizionali si arricchiscono di rappresentazioni simboliche simul-umane (avatar), si dotano di input device e sensori capaci di collezionare informazioni emotivamente connotate, ed infine escono dagli schermi e camminano su ruote e gambe robot”
